Postage Paid
My friend Ellen sent me an incredible package. Of all the goodies inside, this mixtape and this tag were my favorites. It's a machine embroidery of a Russian stamp from the 70's. Noyta means "postage" in Russian.

Marushka
My parents bought this silk screen by Marushka years ago. It reminds me so much of family trips to Maine.
"Marushka, a design and silk screen textile manufacturing company, was founded in Spring Lake, Michigan, in 1972 by Phyllis Gifford and Dick Sweet. the name “Marushka” means “Mary” in Polish." - unruly things

a Whale of a Tale

Luren Jenison
I had the pleasure of going to school with Luren Jenison. She is a delightful person and it shows in her work. These are both from a series titled "Nomadic Environmental Design."

Puppy-Dog Eyes
This tufted basset hound is over 3 feet high. It hardly fit into my car yesterday, but I had to get it. Found at a Goodwill in Smyrna, GA.
